Unidentified Network With Windows Vista - In SP1? Mar 23, 2008. I have a functioning XP network with Zyxel 335 router. 3 wireless and 1 wired connection. Works OK. Installed a new computer with windows vista wired (old USB wireless driver didn??t work with Vista). Only local access to unidentified network.

How does this unidentified network appear? In your windows wireless connect app or network icon? Can you post a picture of it by chance? What Firmware version is currently loaded? I have a Vista desktop with a Dell Wireless adapter and I can connect to the Wireless network and authenticate, but it states that it's Identifying the network and eventually comes back with Unidentified and Limited or No Connectivity. I have tried adjusting the DHCPBroadcast toggle flag in the registry, as well as reinstalling the drivers.
